Flint’s brows raised, “Revenge. I like that.”

They were responsible for creating this world of the undead.” Skinner checked his gun. “Yet they still live.”

MILES OF ZOMBIES – a new zombie apocalypse series

Just Launched!

“The zombies are hungry.” Miles paused and raised his gun at what had once been a pretentious man in a three-piece suit. A corporate executive leading its pack of undead lackeys toward the living. The creature growled over broken teeth. A slick smear of victims splashed its once fine clothes. Miles fired his gun and the creature crumpled to the ground where it only slowed its companions on their climb up their little organization chart. Miles said, “Keep moving, we can hide up ahead.”
Haley pushed her hair back, “Look at how the others come from that store. Shoppers, all of them, with their bags still.”
George waved his hatchet at them, “The new consumer economy –”

In the land of tabloids and paparazzi, tattoo artist Miles Ovation’s shop is overwhelmed with the popularity of the latest pharmaceutical weight-loss fad. The special slow-release tattoo ink just put on the market promises perpetual beauty no matter how long and hard the party burns. The busy tattoo shop keeps Miles’ attention on the task and not dwelling on his grief for the terrible accident that killed his fiancée a year ago.
Panic ruptures outside the tattoo shop as the first victims transform into the ravenous undead. The zombies have a new diet for the living.
Miles flees across the desperate city of Los Angeles with Haley and George but he learns his companions have secrets that dip into the ink’s origin. One of them is even the cause for an obsessive assassin that relentlessly hunts them through the undead world. Filled with anguish for his part in facilitating the spread of this insidious plague, Miles cannot resist the suggestion there could be a cure. Will they find the secret to save the world or a horrific death along the way?
Find out in Miles of Zombies, the first book of The Dead And Tattooed – LA series.

“Yes, George. The zombies are hungry” Miles fired his weapon and opened another office in the zombie organization that came for them.

Books 2 and 3 in this series are complete and will launch in the following weeks.

Franka – More Than A Vampire

FRANKA launches today in both electronic ebook Kindle format and as a physical paperback.

FRANKA begins a series of stories about the character Killian Branoc that played a role in my Vampires Of Livix trilogy. He is a special Vampire Investigator tied in with the shadowy VBA department, a wide-ranging quasi-governmental group that solves intricate issues facing both the vampire and human communities. His character is a bit of many thriller protagonists but also his own animal – he has a history that he is not proud of and keeps much of it locked away except under stress. The monster Franka is a challenge for him and an interesting mash up of vampires and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, a cunning creature that frightens the vampires. The story follows more of a Thriller and Suspense arc with more action and adventure with “fade-to-black” romance. Click on the image to see the Amazon listing and read the full Jacket Copy. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did writing it.

Crushing – Launched at Amazon Kindle

Crushing has now launched at Amazon. A fun adventure focused on one of the characters from Cabernet Zin. Since I’ve been playing guitar for a year and a half (still not any good, yet), and now building guitars, I put that hard-won knowledge and research into the story. The guitar pictured on the cover is one of the prototypes I built this past summer. The story setting is Wine Country in Southern California (Temecula).

“Amanda fled the cold and meaningless Midwest for a new start in California where she works at a beautiful winery while contemplating college and career plans. There she meets Kyle, a gorgeous yet struggling guitarist playing weekend gigs at the winery, determined to make it big in the music industry. As Amanda’s love and desire for Kyle increases, she becomes more concerned with the risks and the pain this hot young man will bring her.

Complications escalate as Kyle’s troublesome brother Sardis gets involved with Haley, a wicked girl with her own agenda for Kyle – who throws a sexy, out-of-control party to lure Kyle into her treacherous lies. Can Kyle work passed his brother’s betrayal? Then Amanda’s father, who abandoned his now grown daughter when she was two, finds her and reveals family secrets that compels her to seek the truth – can she ever forgive her mother? Will the crushing strain of it all press Amanda and Kyle tighter together … or blow their world apart?

Find out in CRUSHING, a story set in The Southern California Wine Country series!”

A Frightening Observation

This is pretty exciting:

My next release, Cabernet Zin a New Adult Contemporary Romance, is showing up as #34 out of 77 top “Must Read” New Adult books! My story is currently getting vetted by beta readers and not released yet (soon!). The other books that show further up this list have been at the very top of Amazon sales charts with massive sales, truly inspiring sales. So now I’m even more anxious about beta feedback and concerned to meet regular reader expectations on this list. Beta reader feedback so far has been positive, asking how soon to get another book in the series so I might be ok … luckily I’m already working on the outline for book two.
